POLLEN CONSISTS OF MICROSCOPIC PARTICLES THAT ARE PRODUCED BY PLANTS IN FLORIDA. POLLEN GRAINS AND MOLD SPORES CAN FLOAT IN THE AIR FOR 10 TO 15 MILES OR MORE. MOST OF THE MOLD IS PRESENT IN THE OUTDOOR AIR BUT MOLD CAN GROW WHERE THERE HAVE BEEN WATER LEAKS / FLOODS AND AIR CONDITIONING LEAKS / PROBLEMS. CAT AND DOG DANDER IS SO LIGHT THAT IT JUST FLOATS IN THE INDOOR AIR AND STICKS TO CARPET, FURNITURE AND WALLS AND STICKS TO THE INSIDE OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. IT CAN TAKE 6 - 8 MONTHS FOR PET DANDER TO CLEAR FROM A HOUSE AFTER THE PET LEAVES THE HOME. PET DANDER STICKS TO CLOTHING AND OCCASIONALLY WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PLACES THAT DON'T HAVE A PET PRESENT. DUST IS COMPOSED OF MOLD SPORES, HUMAN SHED SKIN CELLS, DUST MITES / DUST MITE PARTICLES AND ROACH PARTICLES. PET DANDER CAN ALSO BE A COMPONENT OF DUST.
